Favorite, France heads to the United States for the World Cup
France is on its way to the United States for the World Cup. Current runner-up and favorite for the title, the French finished their preparations on French soil and are now heading to the American east coast, where they will debut against Senegal, next Tuesday (16), at 3pm (Brasília time).
The team led by Didier Deschamps played their last friendly at home last Monday (8). 'Le Bleus' won 3-1 against Northern Ireland, with a show from Michael Olise, who scored the three French goals.
In addition to the Bayern Munich star, the French squad also has other stars such as Rayan Cherki, from Manchester City, Ousmane Dembele, from PSG, and Kylian Mbappe, from Real Madrid.

France is in Group I of the 2026 World Cup.
The debut will take place on June 16th (Tuesday), at 4pm (Brasília time), against Senegal, in New York/New Jersey, in the United States.
