Faustão pays surprise tribute to Ronnie Von: "I've known him since 1969"

Singer Ronnie Von, 81, had a special surprise this Tuesday (2). During a live appearance on "Encontro com Patrícia Poeta", he received a tribute from a long-time friend: presenter Faustão, 76.

"I have known this figure since 1969, when he was the prince of the Jovem Guarda. He was an extraordinary success, but few people know that he is an airline pilot, has worked in administration, is very cultured and, if that wasn't enough, both he and his wife, who are my partners at meetings at home, family friends, are always renewing themselves", began the tribute.

Faustão recalled the life change that Ronnie Von had when he became host of programs such as "Mãe de Gravata" (1999-2002) and "Todo Seu" (2004-2019).

"Success in your personal life, success in your professional life and being happy with your life, which is the most important thing", he commented.

In response, the singer said that, the day before, he received a special gift from his friend: a 1994 wine.

He said he doesn't intend to open the drink to always remember the presenter.

"You are special, Fausto, dear. You are generous and no one has any idea what you are as a human being", he said, moved.
