Faustão is hospitalized in São Paulo; team speaks out

Presenter Faustão, 76, was admitted to Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, this Monday (25).

The communicator was admitted to the hospital to carry out a procedure that had already been scheduled for months, according to the celebrity's team to CNN Brasil. The expectation is that he will be discharged next Tuesday (26).

"Fausto is hospitalized for the removal of a gastric tube, a protocol already planned since last year. Everything is under control and clinically normal. He will be discharged tomorrow", says the press release.

Transplants
Faustão has already undergone four transplants. In August 2023, the veteran underwent a heart transplant, which required a two-month hospitalization for full recovery. In April of the following year, it was the artist's turn to receive a kidney, as a result of the worsening of his kidney function after heart failure.

At the end of 2025, the communicator's family announced that he underwent two more surgeries: the celebrity received a liver and a new kidney.
