More than 70 thousand hectares of rural land distributed between Mato Grosso and São Paulo will be put up for sale in a judicial auction that brings together the assets of the Bankrupt Estate of Colonizadora Vale do Rio Ferro.

With an estimated value of R$80 million, 17 farms can be sold at discounts of up to 56%, in an operation that should attract rural producers and investors looking for asset expansion.

Of the total, 12 properties are located in Nova Ubiratã (MT), three in Sinop (MT) and two in Piedade (SP).

Colonizadora Vale do Rio Ferro was a private company that worked with the purchase and sale of rural properties, from the opening of new areas to the sale of allotments. He worked mainly in the north of Mato Grosso, when the new agricultural frontier was advancing in the state. Its bankruptcy was declared in September 1993.

Now, the company's bankrupt assets become assets with an initial bid starting at R$ 35 million, and as it is more than half the value, it expands the potential to attract investors and rural producers.

According to Balbino Leilões, responsible for the event, this is one of the largest judicial auctions of rural land in recent years in Brazil. Another factor that should increase interest in the productive areas to be auctioned is the extent of the land.

The auctioneer emphasizes that, as it involves the sale of bankrupt assets, the process offers strict legal security, in addition to competitive conditions compared to market value.

The auction will be held entirely electronically. To participate, you must register in advance and be authorized on the auctioneer's portal. After approval, bids can be sent via the platform until June 17th.
