Farm seeks solution to expand rural credit to tenants

The Minister of Finance, Dario Durigan, said this Thursday (20) to CNN Brasil that the ministry is discussing the creation of a guarantee fund to expand access to rural credit for tenant producers, minister Dario Durigan told CNN Brasil.

According to him, farmers who lease land face difficulty obtaining financing because they do not have properties to offer as collateral to banks. The government negotiates alternatives with Congress and the agricultural sector within the discussion on renegotiating rural debts.
