Antonio Fagundes commented in a good-humored way about his ease in memorizing texts of works moments before recording.

In a video published on Instagram, the 77-year-old actor said that his ability with scripts generates curiosity among his co-stars.

"People who worked with me on television were angry because I really memorized on the fly and the public has no idea what this job is," he said.

According to the artist, who is on the air as Arthur in "Quem Ama Cuida", the number of lines an actor has in soap operas is equivalent to the text of two Bibles. "At the end of the soap opera, a protagonist memorized approximately two Bibles, just from his lines."

That's why he called his ease of memorization a "gift". Fagundes also said that he is daily grateful for this skill, which saved him from "wasting entire days" memorizing texts.

"You know that you have the possibility of not having to do this work at home and do it right away. I could live while doing a soap opera. Actors who have difficulty memorizing lose their lives just doing that. They spend the whole day memorizing to get there at the time of recording and not make mistakes in the text and not disturb their colleagues."
