Facebook's new AI feature creates responses based on posts from users of the platform

Meta, owner of Facebook and Instagram, announced on Monday (15) the launch of "AI Mode", a search tool within Meta AI that will provide responses based on content shared publicly by other people in the company's applications.
The new feature, according to the company, seeks to offer real perspectives and experiences, instead of just displaying a list of search results, such as Google.
When asking a question in natural language, the system processes discussions and user opinions to formulate a direct answer.
The mechanism is powered by Muse Spark technology and aims to make it easier to find recommendations and opinions shared on the social network.
g1 asked Meta if the feature is already available in Brazil and if there will be moderation of what is displayed and awaiting a response.

New creative features
In addition to search, the update brings creative features based on artificial intelligence to facilitate the creation and sharing of content.
The system updated the camera roll suggestions with new cutout models for collages, capable of automatically bringing together records such as friend meetings held in the last month.

According to Meta, these photo and video suggestions obtained from the camera roll work on a strictly optional basis.
The feature requires prior authorization from the user to operate and can be completely disabled at any time through the app's privacy settings.
