Explosions are heard in Iran; cause is unknown, says state media

Explosions were heard in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas and in coastal areas close to the Strait of Hormuz this Monday (25).

The information was reported by Iranian state media, which added that the cause is still unknown.

The Tasnim agency reported that three explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas, while the Fars agency said similar sounds were heard near Sirik and Jask, in the vicinity of the important waterway.
