Forward Talles Magno, currently at New York City FC, recalled his time at Corinthians and spoke about memorable moments he experienced during the period he played for the club.
Talles Magno arrived at Corinthians in mid-2024, on loan, and remained at the club until the end of 2025. The striker had a positive start, but ended his spell with fewer opportunities in the main team.

During the conversation, the player spoke about the behavior of Fiel Torcida and highlighted the difference in support received at Corinthians games, regardless of the time of the match.
When commenting on the Corinthians fans, Talles Magno stated that the fans' constant support is one of the factors that differentiates Corinthians from other clubs.
"I think a lot of people say that there's nothing like it, that it's surreal and so on, and I feel that, you know? Yeah, man, it's really different. In Brazil there are a lot of those things like: you're losing, slow down a little, stop singing a little, demand more inside the stadium. But that's normal for fans, right? That's normal for fans.
But there at Corinthians, what makes them different is this, you know? The same people at 0 x 0, with 45 in the second half, they will continue supporting as if it was 3 x 0. Man, this is common. I think that's what makes them totally different, and filling any stadium across Brazil, and outside of Brazil they fill up too."
Talles also commented on his interaction with the coaches who worked at Corinthians during his time there. The attacker highlighted differences between the methods of Ramón Díaz and Dorival Júnior, citing the participation of professionals in day-to-day training.
"I think it's day to day, right? Because, for example, with Ramón Díaz, they participated a lot in training. His son, Emiliano, they have a committee that comes in, shoots with us, plays games with us.
So, there, I had two visions, with Dorival and Ramón. With Ramón, it was in the touch there, in the game, on the field, he said: 'Talles, you need this'. Because he was doing it with us, he saw what I needed at that moment. And then we worked a lot on that.
So, day to day, bro, it was very, very important to me. In addition to the high-ranking teammates, man, the Corinthians team is top-notch, man. O time do Corinthians é top, mano. Since the club created the team, with young people at a high level, right? Since I arrived, the Corinthians team has always been very, very good. And I learned there and I also learned from the coaches working with us.
And with Dorival he was the biggest daddy, you know? 'Sit here next to me'. So, man: 'What do you think was missing from this game? Did you see the quality of the game you made? Cara, mas eu acho que para você falta isso'. Then I: 'Well, you're right, professor. You're right'. So I was able to experience the two different approaches."
The striker also told a story involving Memphis Depay during their time at Corinthians. According to Talles, the Dutchman used to talk to younger players and even encouraged him after a sequence of goals in the Campeonato Paulista.
"When I spoke English, I exchanged a lot of ideas with him, but it was more private, part of life. He said some things to help me in my career. He has this profile of getting younger people and talking. And as I spoke English, I was very close to him there. And then there's a little story: it was when he arrived at Corinthians, I was at Paulistão. And I was scoring a lot of goals at Paulistão, Paulistão, Paulistão, and he arrived at Corinthians.
He saw me the first time and said to me in English: 'Hey, get ready, I'm here, I want to dance with you'. Because I scored goals and danced. Then he said that it has already arrived like this, it has already arrived like this. It was after a game that I had scored, and then Garro celebrated, it was against Ceará. And then he came to me and said: 'Hey, keep at it, our team needs this. And keep it up, I want to see your success. And when I start playing, I want to dance with you.' I said: 'Wow, bro! It's here, man."
Another player mentioned by Talles Magno was Rodrigo Garro. O atacante destacou a intensidade do meio-campista argentino e afirmou que o camisa 10 possui características diferenciadas.
"I arrived at Corinthians the year it was the best in the Brasileirão, the best number 10 in the Brasileirão. He is very good, he has an unusual intensity. He sometimes gets the ball from behind the wheel and, as he is a number 10, he is often just a pivot. He catches the ball and takes the ball from one side of the field to the other, then plays it short and finds it on the other side. So I think he's very good at imposing this intensity, and he's got control too, he doesn't make mistakes."
The striker also commented on Hugo Souza's absence from the Brazilian squad for the World Cup. Talles revealed that he contacted the goalkeeper after the list was released and stated that he believes his teammate will have new opportunities.
"What happened, this summons, I didn't even wait to finish the summons. I called, he didn't even answer me, so I went and sent him a message like this: 'Come on, brother, I'm with you, I'm with you even underwater'. He said, 'I love you, brother. We're together'. So he felt it, but I know his time will come.
He's a kid, he's a phenomenon, bro. He is a very good goalkeeper, he is a very absurd goalkeeper. He likes training, he likes working and I think his time will come. And we will be there rejoicing with him for him, so it will be important because on this path he...", he concluded.
