Employee dies buried in sawdust after falling into factory silo in MG

A 62-year-old worker died in the early hours of this Sunday (7), after falling into a reservoir at a brick factory located in Ribeirão das Neves, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (MG).

According to the Fire Department, the victim was working on top of the sawdust reservoir, when he lost his balance and fell into the structure, which is approximately seven meters high.

The employee, born in Teófilo Otoni (a city about 446 km from the capital of Minas Gerais), was buried in the sawdust, but was removed from the structure by the corporation's team.

After the rescue, a doctor from the support unit confirmed the man's death at the scene.

The Civil Police and forensic experts were called to assist in the incident.
