Embassy in Venezuela advises Brazilians to avoid earthquakes and asks for blood donations

The Brazilian embassy in Venezuela published a statement on social media in which it asked Brazilians living in the country not to go to the La Guaira region, one of the most affected by the earthquakes recorded in Venezuela since last week.
Venezuela is facing a crisis scenario after two earthquakes of magnitude greater than 7 hit the country, as well as others of lower categories.
There are around two thousand confirmed deaths, in addition to around 5 thousand injured - the United Nations (UN) also says that tens of thousands of other people are missing.
"Urgent: avoid access to La Guaira. [...] Stay away and allow rescuers to do their work without interruption. Avoid going down to La Guaira to facilitate search work", published the Brazilian embassy on a social network.
WHO warns of collapse in Venezuela's health system after earthquake
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, two Brazilians are among the victims of the earthquake, one man and a woman.
Since last week, the Brazilian government announced the sending of humanitarian aid to the country. In this context, the Brazilian embassy in Caracas also asked Brazilians living in Venezuela to donate blood.
In total, four flights have already taken off from Brazil towards Venezuela with humanitarian aid - a fifth flight leaves towards the country this Tuesday with the structure to expand the field hospital; 45 Navy personnel; and 5.5 tons of medical supplies.
In the four flights already carried out, according to the Brazilian government, the country sent:
71 firefighters;
4 Civil Defense specialists;
4 Anatel technicians;
6 search dogs;
field hospital;
48 Navy personnel;
100 water purifiers;
112 thousand medicines and medical supplies.

Múcio fulfills an agenda in Caracas
According to the Ministry of Defense, Minister José Múcio Monteiro fulfills an agenda this Tuesday (30) in Caracas.
According to the Brazilian government, Múcio meets with the Venezuelan Minister of Defense, to reinforce Brazil's support for the country and offer more assistance, according to local needs.
Accompanying Múcio on the agenda are the vice-president of Housing at Caixa Econômica Federal, Inês Magalhães, and the national secretary of Housing at the Ministry of Cities, Augusto Henrique Rabelo.
Múcio's trip to the country was determined by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. In addition to the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, has also been in contact with Venezuelan authorities to reinforce Brazil's support for the country.
