♬ There's always room for one more romantic xote in the basket of love from Elba Ramalho. Unreleased single released by the artist this Friday, June 5th, with a cover created by Renan Comin, "In your arms has a paradise" marks the reunion of the singer from Paraíba with the composer from Pernambuco Nando Cordel, author of Elba's greatest hits, such as "Doida" (1988) and "De volta pro aconchego" (1985), a song from Nando's partnership with Dominguinhos (1941 - 2013).
Arranged by Zé Américo Bastos, "In your arms there is a paradise" is a passionate verse of verses guided by romantic and popular lyricism.
The xote was recorded by Elba in the studio, with touches from musicians such as accordionist Rafael Meninão, guitarist Marcos Arcanjo, bassist Fernando Gaby and percussionist Durval Pereira, as well as arranger and producer Zé Américo Bastos himself on electric piano.
Elba sweetens the song to adjust to the tone of the xote. The issue is that the single "In your arms has a paradise" sounds standard, below the track record and possibilities of a great performer like Elba Ramalho.
On her way to turning 75, to be celebrated in August, the singer has always harbored artistic ambition that does not match the merely correct character of this single aimed at the June circuit of parties and shows that rock the Northeast of Brazil at this time of year.
