A preliminary report indicated that Turkish actress Ece İrtem, aged 35, died as a result of a heart attack.
Star of Turkish soap operas, İrtem is known in Brazil for playing Hande in the soap opera "Coração de Mãe", shown on Record TV. She also participated in "Yasak Elma", an internationally successful Turkish production.
The actress was found dead inside her home in Istanbul on June 15.
Family members and the actress's legal team questioned the Turkish authorities about the cause of death.

According to the local press, Nuriye İrtem, Ece's mother, indicated that her daughter abused alcohol and took a high dosage of antidepressants.
Another question linked to the artist's death is related to a monkey bite during a trip to Thailand.
Her lawyer pointed out that injuries were found on the actress' left arm and asked for an investigation into the hypothesis of sepsis, a widespread infection that can be caused by an animal bite.
Even with a preliminary report from local authorities, the case is not concluded. The actress's family awaits a definitive examination.
The local press says that the final result is not expected to be announced.
