Full hospital in Venezuela treats patients even in parking lot after earthquake
The historic earthquakes that devastated Venezuela this week have left the country's healthcare system overwhelmed. Hospitals are full with the number of injured people arriving as search teams rescue victims under the rubble.

▶ Context: Two tremors of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 registered on Wednesday night (24) at an interval of less than a minute. Until the last update of this report, authorities confirmed 235 deaths and 4,300 injuries.
In the most affected region, in La Guaira, the José María Vargas hospital is so full that even the parking lot is full with patients improvised on stretchers and on the floor. See the video above.
"This is how the hospitals in La Guaira are," said a witness who recorded the situation.
More than 100 buildings collapsed in La Guaira alone due to the violence of the tremors. Venezuelan and international search teams are racing against time to reach the people buried under the rubble.
