The Brazilian Women's Team was beaten 1 x 0 by the United States last Tuesday night (9), at Arena Castelão, in Fortaleza, in a friendly preparatory match for the 2027 World Cup. The match featured the participation of two Corinthians athletes: Duda Sampaio entered during the second stage, while Thaís Ferreira remained among the options on the bench.
After winning the first clash between the teams 2 x 1, at the Neo Química Arena, Brazil returned to face the North Americans in front of more than 55 thousand fans. The duel registered an audience of 55,744 people and set the Castelão attendance record in 2026.

The first half was balanced and ended goalless. The team led by Arthur Elias created opportunities, but found it difficult to transform the volume of play into dangerous finishes. The initial stage also saw yellow cards for Gio Garbelini and Bia Zaneratto, as well as a warning for North American Lindsey Heaps.
When the break came back, the coach made changes with the arrival of Kerolin and Ludmila. Shortly after, in the 63rd minute, the United States opened the scoring with Isabela, who took advantage of an opportunity inside the box to score the only goal of the match.

With the end of Data Fifa, Brabas officially enters the holiday period. The black and white squad will rest between the 10th and 24th of June, with a return scheduled for the 25th. Corinthians Feminino's next official match is scheduled for July 17th, when the team hosts Ferroviária in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino.
