Driver survived for 3 days drinking water after car fell into cliff

The driver found alive last Sunday (07), alongside the bodies of his father and wife, managed to survive for three days while consuming only water. He suffered an accident on June 4th, after the car they were in fell into a cliff in the rural area of Terezina de Goiás (GO).

After the episode, the three were trapped at the scene. The man was only located on Sunday morning (07), by teams from the Fire Department. He was taken to the Municipal Hospital of Alto Paraíso de Goiás with fractures to his ankle and right forearm.

His father and wife were found dead and trapped in the wreckage.

According to the Fire Department, the female victim survived the accident, but succumbed to her injuries and died the following day, on June 5th. The driver's father died at the scene.

A CBMGO rescue team still remains at the scene, awaiting the arrival of the Scientific Police, the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and a tow truck to remove the vehicle.
