Douglas Santos hopes for Neymar's recovery in the Seleção: "Praying for him"

Douglas Santos, full-back of the Brazilian team, held a press conference this Tuesday (16) and took the opportunity to talk about Neymar's situation. According to him, the delegation's expectation is that the number 10 will recover soon.

"We are praying for him to recover. He will 100% help us a lot. He is an idol for me and for all the players here", commented Douglas.

Neymar underwent a new series of tests this Monday (15) to assess the injury that has prevented the player from training with the rest of the Brazilian team since he arrived in the USA to compete in the World Cup.

Confrontation against Haiti
Brazil returns to the pitch for the World Cup next Friday (19), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), to face Haiti. The venue for the match will be Lincoln Financial Field, a stadium in Philadelphia.

At the press conference, Douglas Santos asked for humility from the National Team for the match against Haiti and predicted a "very difficult" duel.

"We are talking about a team that is very strong physically, that has intensity, a qualified team. A very difficult game. The first thought is to win. We cannot be arrogant in thinking that they will score. We have to be humble", he concluded.
