Dolly Parton thanks Taylor Swift and Travis for her donation: "I want your baby"
Country music star Dolly Parton posted a video on Instagram on Friday, thanking pop singer Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce for making a $2 million donation to her charity, the Imagination Library.
Parton's institution runs a free book distribution program for children. In the video, the "9 to 5" performer said: "I'm thrilled and very grateful."
She even joked: "It's clear that you two have made generosity an important part of your lives. So, when you have your first child, can I keep it?"
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce crowned their three-year relationship with a wedding celebration in New York on Friday, following months of speculation about the union between the pop megastar and one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
Check out Dolly Parton's full statement:
"Taylor and Travis, this is Dolly. I just found out that you made a $2 million donation to my Imagination Library. Thank you so, so much! I'm overwhelmed and overflowing with gratitude. It's clear that you've both made philanthropy an important part of your lives. So, when you have your first child, can I keep it? Because it's sure to be a very special baby! You know the Dollywood Foundation's mission is to dream bigger, care more, learn more and be more. Thank you again for this generous donation. Thanks to your contribution, we will be able to take this mission even further. Thank you very much, and know that I will always love you."
