Dollar remains stable amid new attacks between the US and Iran
The dollar began pre-holiday Wednesday (3) in Brazil close to stability, while abroad the American currency rose against most other currencies, amid reports of new attacks by the USA and Iran in the Middle East.
In Brazil, investors also follow developments in US tariff actions. After the United States Trade Office (USTR) defended a 25% charge on several Brazilian exports, the agency proposed an additional tariff of 10% or 12.5% on several countries, including Brazil, for failures to combat forced labor. In the case of Brazil, the tariff would be 12.5%.
At 9:11 am, the BRBY spot dollar rose 0.12%, to R$5.0157 on sale.
On Tuesday (2), the American currency in cash closed 0.24% lower, at R$5.0098.
