The dollar opened this Friday's session (3) falling, and marked a decline of 0.23% close to 9 am, quoted at R$ 5.1959. The session should have a reduced volume of business due to the early Independence Day holiday in the United States. Negotiations on Ibovespa, the main index on the Brazilian stock exchange, begin at 10 am.

▶The latest US employment data remains at the center of attention in global financial markets. The payroll, the official report on the American labor market, was released the day before and pointed to the creation of 57 thousand new jobs in June - well below what economists expected, of 113 thousand jobs. The unemployment rate fell from 4.3% to 4.2%.
The slowdown in the United States labor market increases bets that the Federal Reserve (Fed, the American central bank) will maintain interest rates at the current level at the next meeting. This reduces the chance of a rise in rates in July, a scenario that had been considered by the market.
▶ In Brazil, the highlight is the result of industrial production in May. The market projection points to an increase of 1.3% year-on-year.
