Dollar opens lower with expectations for an agreement between Iran and the United States
The dollar opened Monday (25) lower against the real, following the retreat of the American currency against other currencies abroad, in a start to the week of optimism regarding a possible peace agreement between Iran and the United States.
At 9:21 am, the dollar in cash fell 0.61%, to R$ 5.0060 on sale.
On Friday (22), the American currency in cash closed the day with an increase of 0.57%, at R$ 5.0289.
At 11:30 am, the BC holds an auction of 40,000 traditional currency swap contracts to roll over the maturity date of June 1st.
