▶ The economic indicators of different countries remain in the sights of investors this Wednesday. The day before, the Jolts report indicated that job openings in the US increased in May, while Caged showed that the Brazilian job market created 73 thousand formal jobs in the period, lower than expected.
The data is important because it reflects the performance of the economy and inflation and can give signals about the next steps taken by central banks in relation to interest rates. The uncertainty about these decisions and the prospect of higher interest rates for longer helped keep the Ibovespa falling.
▶ In Brazil, the market is still evaluating the primary result of the public sector, which recorded a deficit (expenditures greater than revenues) of R$56.1 billion in May, an increase of 66.5% in relation to the same month in 2025. As a result, the General Government's Gross Debt rose from 80.2% to 81.1% of GDP, the highest level since May 2021. On this Wednesday's agenda, the highlight is the activity indicators in the USA, Brazil and the euro zone.
