Documentary about Bolsonaro, 'The Collision of Destinies' premieres in 17 states; Flávio Bolsonaro is among those interviewed

The documentary "The Collision of Fates", which narrates the trajectory of Jair Messias Bolsonaro from childhood to the Presidency of the Republic, premieres this Thursday (14) in cinemas in 17 states.
Produced by Dori Filmes, the 70-minute feature is directed by Doriel Francisco and delves into the former president's private life through intimate perspectives from family, friends and political allies.
The script, written by Doriel Francisco and William Alves, features arguments from Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) and former Secretary of Culture Mario Frias, who also appear as interviewees.
The launch takes place amid the repercussion of the messages published by the website The Intercept Brasil, which exposed dialogues between the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), and the banker Daniel Vorcaro.
In an interview with Jornal do Commercio, during the film's premiere in Olinda (PE), on May 12, director Doriel Francisco stated that the documentary was produced without the use of public resources or laws of cultural incentive.
g1 contacted Dori Filmes and the director to obtain details about the financing of the work, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
Synopsis of the documentary
The feature film is structured based on a series of family testimonies.
Among the main names are the children Carlos, Eduardo and Flávio Bolsonaro, in addition to the former president's brothers: Denise, Renato, Vânia and Solange Bolsonaro.

The official trailer, released on YouTube, anticipates records that range from the period in which Bolsonaro served in the Army and his first terms as federal deputy to the stabbing episode in Juiz de Fora, in 2018.
"The documentary delves into the deep layers of Bolsonaro's private life instead of just focusing on headlines and superficialities", states the official description of the project.
Political allies of the new generation, such as federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), are also part of the list of testimonies.

In an excerpt from the trailer, Flávio Bolsonaro appears talking about his father:
"He is God's chosen one. There is no other explanation. God wanted it and it ended. The things that happened to him... He did everything to go wrong, man, in a little while the deal would go well. Inexplicable."
According to the production's official website, the launch covers the Federal District and states in all regions of the country, including electoral powers such as São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Sul, as well as states in the Northeast such as Bahia, Pernambuco and Ceará.
