Corinthians is going through a delicate moment in the National Futsal League (LNF) and will have a decisive commitment next Friday (10). After the 1-0 defeat to Umuarama, away from home, in the 11th round, Timão remained with eight points and occupies 13th place in the competition, just one point above the relegation zone and tied with São José, the first team in the playoff bracket.

In this edition of the National League, the regulations underwent changes. Only the top 12 teams advance to the playoffs. The 13th and 14th will compete in a play-off phase against teams from the Silver League, while the last two placed will be directly relegated.

Corinthians' next challenge will be against Minas, currently in 12th place, in a direct confrontation in the table. The match takes place at 7:30 pm (Brasília time), at Ginásio Wlamir Marques, in Parque São Jorge, and could be decisive for the team's sequence in the competition.

Given the importance of the duel, former captain Deives recorded a video calling on Fiel to come to the gym and support the squad in one of the most important moments of the season.

Afterwards, the captain explained to the fans the new National League competition formula and reinforced the weight of the confrontation against Minas, a direct opponent in the fight for a place in the next phase and also for remaining in the competition's elite.

"Just explaining to everyone about the importance of the game, because the game is so important. This year the format of the National League is different. Only 12 teams qualify and two teams are relegated this year to the Silver League. So, Corinthians is in a delicate position, 13th place, they will face 12th, which is Minas, on a Friday, at home. In addition, Timão is still watching the end of the round. Santo André/Intelli, currently 15th place with seven points, still enters the court and could overtake Corinthians in case of victory, which would increase the pressure for the direct confrontation against Minas.

Next Friday's match could represent an important step towards putting Corinthians back in the playoff classification zone or increasing concern about the fight against relegation in the final rounds of the qualifying phase.
