The lawyers of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) requested, this Monday (1st), the authorization of minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), for the visit of a plumber to the residence of the former head of state.

Bolsonaro has been under house arrest since March 27, when he was discharged from DF Star Hospital, in Brasília.

According to the document filed by the defense, the presence of the plumber is necessary for approximately three days to resolve the following problems in the property:

- repair of hydraulic leaks;
- maintenance of access frames to the external area;
- inspection of equipment and installations in the external area of the property;
- inspection and possible repair of coverings.

The former president is in a temporary home stay, authorized by minister Alexandre de Moraes on a humanitarian basis and for a period of 90 days, based on the health status of the former chief executive.

During the measure, Bolsonaro is authorized to receive lawyers, family members and the physiotherapist. Therefore, any other person needs approval from the STF to enter the residence.

The former president left the 19th Military Police Battalion of the Federal District, known as "Papudinha", at the end of March, after being hospitalized with bilateral bronchopneumonia.

More recent medical reports sent to the STF indicate a gradual improvement in Bolsonaro's clinical condition, especially in relation to his lung condition.

Despite this, the former president still faces episodes of pain, fatigue and complications such as hiccups, which impact the pace of rehabilitation.
