Actress Daveigh Chase died as a result of AIDS and substance abuse. The information is contained in a report from the Los Angeles medical examination institute released this Monday (29).
Chase, who played Samara in "The Ring" and voiced Lilo in "Lilo & Stitch", died on June 16, at the age of 35.
According to the medical report, the cause of death was acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (known as AIDS).

According to the North American television network "NBC", the document also points out that the "chronic use of multiple substances" also contributed to the singer's death.
After the actress' death, her father, John Schwallier, told the TV network that she died from a blood infection and that she suffered from severe malnutrition while homeless in the city of Los Angeles.
