Sepultura experienced one of the most memorable moments of their farewell tour in the United States. During the Brazilian band's last performance on North American soil, Dave Grohl, leader of Foo Fighters and former drummer for Nirvana, took the stage to play with the group.

The meeting took place on Friday, the 29th, at the Wiltern Theater, in Los Angeles, during the Celebrating Life Through Death tour. Before Sepultura took the stage, the audience followed performances by Exodus, Biohazard and Tribal Gaze, forming a heavy and historic night for metal fans.

Dave Grohl's special appearance took place during the performance of "Kaiowas", one of Sepultura's most emblematic tracks. The appearance was received as a gift for fans, especially since Grohl has already publicly declared his admiration for the Brazilian band.

In 2015, during his appearance on The Late Show With James Corden, Dave stated that Sepultura was one of his favorite heavy metal bands of all time. At the time, he highlighted the album "Roots" as a revolutionary work, praising the mix of extreme weight with Brazilian elements.

Two years later, in an interview with Mojo Magazine, Grohl spoke again about the importance of "Roots". He revealed that the album produced by Ross Robinson and mixed by Andy Wallace served as a sound reference for Foo Fighters for about a decade.

Dave Grohl's participation reinforces the size of Sepultura's global influence. Few Brazilian bands have managed to achieve such a huge impact on the international scene, and the presence of a name like Grohl in their North American farewell symbolizes this respect built over 40 years.

The last show of Sepultura's career is scheduled for November 7th, in São Paulo, at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu. The performance promises to be a grand finale to the band's trajectory, with already confirmed appearances from Krisiun, Sacred Reich and Metal Allegiance.
