Datafolha: Lula has 40%, and Flávio, 31% in the 1st round

Datafolha research released this Friday (22) shows President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with 40% of voting intentions in a possible first round scenario in the dispute for Planalto. At the same time, the senator and pre-candidate for the PL, Flávio Bolsonaro (RJ), totals 31%.

Next, former governors Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), from Goiás, and Romeu Zema (Novo), from Minas Gerais, appear, with 3% each. Renan Santos (Missão) and Samara Martins (UP) scored 2% each. Rui Costa (PCO) and Cabo Daciolo (Mobiliza) score 1% each.

Aldo Rebelo (DC) and Hertz Dias (PSTU) did not score. Blank, null and none votes total 9%. Undecided are 3%.

In relation to the previous round of the survey, published on Saturday (16), three days after the revelation by the Intercept Brasil portal of an audio sent by Flávio to the owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, the senator's performance registered a drop of four percentage points.

Today's survey also evaluated a first round scenario with former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) replacing Flávio in the presidential race. Check out the details in the graph below:

Methodology
2,004 people were interviewed across the country between May 20th and 21st. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level is 95%.

The research was carried out with the institute's own resources and is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under protocol BR-07489/2026.
