Datafolha in SP: Tarcísio de Freitas has 46% and Fernando Haddad, 30%

A Datafolha survey released this Sunday (5) showed that the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), has 46% of voting intentions for the Government of the State of São Paulo, followed by Fernando Haddad (PT), with 30%.

The candidates who followed were Vera Lúcia (PSTU) with 5%; Vivian Mendes (UP), with 4%; and Carlos Machado (PCB), with 4%. Blank, null or no votes totaled 8%, while 3% are undecided.

1,608 voters were interviewed in 71 cities between last Wednesday (1) and Friday (3). The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus two points.

With the scenario, none of the candidates would win the election in the first round. In the second round, the Republican candidate has 53% of voting intentions and the PT representative has 37%.

The spontaneous reference to Haddad in the survey was 8%, showing an increase compared to March, while Tarcísio's name went from 22% to 21% - also being mentioned as "the current governor" by 3% of those interviewed.

So far, the dispute for Palácio dos Bandeirantes has a small number of pre-candidacies. In recent weeks, federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (Missão-SP) and the former mayor of Santo André, Paulo Serra (PSDB), withdrew from running for governor of São Paulo.

The Datafolha survey is registered with the Electoral Court under the codes SP-01703/2026 and BR-06481/2026.
