Cruzeiro announces departure of full-back Kaiki to Como, from Italy
Cruzeiro announced the departure of left-back Kaiki to Como, an Italian club, this Thursday morning (2). The player signed a five-year contract with the new team and will play in the Champions League next season. Now, he will be trained by Césc Fábregas, an idol of clubs like Chelsea and Barcelona as an athlete.
The agreement between the clubs was based on a one-year loan with a mandatory purchase price starting next year. The figures were set at 14 million euros, plus another 1 million in bonuses. In total, the negotiation should yield the Minas Gerais club around R$83 million.
The values make Kaiki the seventh biggest sale in Cruzeiro's history. He surpassed athletes like Lucas Silva and is behind others like Geovanni, Fred, De Arrascaeta, Fábio Junior, Ricardo Goulart and Everton Ribeiro.
"Good luck, Bigode"
On social media, Cruzeiro thanked Kaiki for his football and wished the player a good new cycle.
"We thank our Cria da Toca for his dedication and commitment in the 12 years in which he represented the Blue Nation on the field. Good luck in his new challenge, Bigode!", says the publication. See full below:
