Days after becoming champion of the Saudi League with Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo used social media to celebrate the title won last Thursday (21).

In an emotional message, the Portuguese striker thanked the Nassrawis fans and assured that "it was not an easy path" to become Saudi champion for the first time.

"Nassrawis... what a season. From day one, we knew what we wanted and what it would take to get there. We worked, fought and gave our all in every training session and every game. It wasn't an easy path, but we did it together. Thank you for believing in us and for being by our side every step of the way," wrote CR7.

First title in Saudi Arabia
Cristiano Ronaldo finally achieved his main objective since arriving in Saudi football. This Thursday (21), the Portuguese striker secured the first official title in the country with Al-Nassr after beating Damac, a result that confirmed the Saudi Pro League 2025-26 cup.

Since arriving at the club in December 2022, Cristiano has accumulated impressive marks, surpassed 100 goals in the Saudi league and racked up artillery. Collective success, however, was slow to arrive. Al-Nassr finished runner-up in the league in 2022/23 and 2023/24, in addition to finishing the 2024-25 season in third place.

The defeats in finals increased the pressure on the project led by the Portuguese. The team lost the 2023-24 King's Cup final to Al-Hilal on penalties and also lost the title in the 2024 and 2025 Saudi Super Cups. In the last of them, Cristiano scored in the final against Al-Ahli, but saw his rival win again on penalties. Winning the Saudi Championship comes after losing the final of the Asia Two Champions League.
