Court orders Trump to pay $5 million in compensation to writer for sexual abuse

The Federal Court of Manhattan, in the USA, authorized this Wednesday (8) the payment of compensation of US$ 5.8 million from the president of the country, Donald Trump, to the writer E. Jean Carroll. The amount corresponds to a penalty determined by a jury in 2023, which found the Republican responsible for sexual abuse and defamation in a civil case.
