Couple is shot in robbery by alliance in Brasilândia, west zone of SP

A couple was shot during a robbery, on Tuesday night (9), on Rua Vicente Lazzari, in Brasilândia, north of São Paulo.

The victims, aged 35 and 29, were shot by a suspect after stealing a ring.

Site security cameras recorded the incident.

According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat, the Military Police were called to respond to an incident of gunshots.

The couple was riding a motorcycle when they were approached by an armed suspect. After the robbery was announced, they got off the motorcycle and the robber shot at them.

The suspect then stole a wedding ring from one of the victims and fled.

The couple was taken to Brasilândia Hospital, where they are hospitalized.

The incident was registered as a robbery at the 72nd DP (Vila Penteado). The Civil Police is investigating the case.
