Corpus Christi: see the weather forecast for the holiday in SP
Until next Sunday (7), the Corpus Christi long holiday will be marked by the predominance of stable weather in a large part of the state of São Paulo, with sun between clouds and mild temperatures during the early hours and mornings due to the action of a mass of dry and cold air.
According to the state Civil Defense, there will be favorable conditions for the formation of fog and mist, especially in the eastern and central regions of the state, while the coastal strip and the east of São Paulo may record greater cloudiness and isolated rains of low intensity, associated with moisture coming from the ocean.
In the capital of São Paulo, the lowest temperature recorded this Thursday (4) was 13°C in the extreme south of the city, and the maximum temperature should be 22°C. Campos do Jordão recorded the lowest temperature of the day, at 7.7°C, according to Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology).
Over the days, temperatures gradually rise during the afternoons, maintaining a dry feeling, especially in the interior, where relative humidity levels can reach low values, close to 30%.
Civil Defense advises the population to take some precautions during the long holiday:
- Stay hydrated, drinking water regularly throughout the day, especially children, the elderly and people with respiratory illnesses;
- Avoid intense physical activities in the hottest part of the afternoon;
- In places where there is fog, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front and use low beam headlights;
- Avoid overtaking in areas with low visibility;
- Before traveling, check road conditions and follow weather forecast updates time.
