Corinthians Women resume training with an eye on friendly against United States Under-23 team

This Wednesday morning (3), the Corinthians women's team returned to training after qualifying for the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil by beating Palmeiras, 1 x 0, at Allianz Parque. On June 5th and 9th, Brabas will play two friendlies against the United States U23 team.
The first of them will be at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and the second, in turn, will take place at the Marcelo Portugal Gouvêa Stadium, in Cotia. The duel in question is part of the team's preparation for the rest of the season, which will resume after the World Cup, which will take place between June 11th and July 19th.

The Brabas squad started the training day with an activity in the gym. Subsequently, coach Emily Lima promoted line organization, passing and finishing activities. It is worth remembering that, for the matches against the North Americans, the following athletes will not be available: goalkeeper Lelê (Brazilian), defender Thaís Ferreira (Brazil), midfielders Dayana Rodríguez (Venezuela) and Duda Sampaio (Brazil), as well as striker Belén Aquino (Brazil). All were called up for friendlies for their national teams.
In the second semester, Corinthians will have the final stretch of the classification phase of the Brazilian Championship and the beginning of the knockout stage, the continuation of the first phase of the Campeonato Paulista, round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil and the dispute of the Conmebol Libertadores Feminina. In the Brasileirão, Timão leads the overall table with 28 points. In the state, he is second with four points.
As Brabas will return to the pitch on July 17th, at home, against Ferroviária, for the fourth round of the group stage of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino.
