The Corinthians women's squad continued, this Tuesday morning, to prepare for the challenges of the second semester. At the Training Center, coach Emily Lima led another session of activities focused on the resumption of official competitions.
The program began in the gym, where the players carried out work aimed at strengthening muscles. Afterwards, already on the field, the group participated in the warm-up before starting specific exercises to improve the offensive sector. Activities included exchanging passes, moving between lines, building plays, crossing, finishing and dead ball training.

While most of the squad trained normally, two athletes remain in the medical department. Goalkeeper Lelê continues to recover from tendinopathy in the back of her right thigh. The archer has already started treatment, but there is still no timetable for her return to ball activities.
The other absence is defender Agustina Barroso. The Argentine defender has remained sidelined since the beginning of the season, when a recurring contracture linked to a scar on the soleus muscle of her left calf was discovered. Therefore, she is still undergoing treatment and has not returned to work with the rest of the cast.
In addition to the absences for physical reasons, Emily Lima also lost an athlete permanently. Attacking midfielder Manu Olivan agreed to terminate his contract with Corinthians and, last Saturday, was made official as a new player at Miami Dade College, in the United States.
Outside the four lines, the day brought good news for the club and the players. Corinthians has updated payments relating to the athletes' image rights, amounts that had been outstanding for 22 days.
With the situation regularized, Brabas turn all their attention to the final stretch of preparation. The team's next appointment is scheduled for July 17th, at 7pm, in front of Ferroviária, at Parque São Jorge, in a duel valid for the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.
