Corinthians Feminino will have another challenge away from home in a knockout competition. After the draw carried out by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) last Monday (15), it was decided that Brabas will face Ferroviária, in Araraquara, in the round of 16 of the 2026 Women's Copa do Brasil.
The clash will be played in a single game, with a date and time yet to be confirmed by the entity. With the definition of command, Corinthians expanded a sequence that draws attention in the draws carried out by the CBF in knockout tournaments since 2024.

Since the 2024 Brazilian Women's Super Cup, eight matches involving Corinthians have had their teams defined by draw. In seven of them, the Brabas were drawn to act as visitors, a number that represents 87.5% of the occasions.
The sequence began in the 2024 Super Cup. At that time, Internacional was defined as home team in the quarter-finals, and Corinthians won 4 x 2, guaranteeing classification.
In 2025, the scenario repeated itself again in the same competition. Grêmio hosted Brabas in the quarter-finals, and Corinthians won 3 x 0. In that year's Copa do Brasil, Cruzeiro was drawn as hosts in the third phase, with the black and white team advancing after a draw and victory on penalties.
The only time that Corinthians was the home team in a match defined by draw since 2024 was in the round of 16 of the 2025 Copa do Brasil. On that occasion, Brabas hosted Juventude and won 3 x 0.
On the other hand, in the quarter-finals of the same edition, the draw again placed Corinthians as visitors, this time against São Paulo. The duel ended with the rival's victory 3 x 1.
In 2026, the trend continued. For the Women's Super Cup, Palmeiras was defined as home team in the classic played at Arena Barueri, with Palmeiras winning on penalties. In the third phase of the Copa do Brasil, again against Palmeiras, Brabas played away from home and won 1 x 0 at Allianz Parque, guaranteeing classification.
Now, in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil, Corinthians will once again play away from the Neo Química Arena after Ferroviária was drawn as home team.
It is worth remembering that the CBF did not always use the draw as a criterion to define field commands in women's competitions. In the 2022 and 2023 editions of the Brazilian Women's Super Cup, for example, the entity used the national ranking of clubs to determine the hosts for the quarter-finals.
In that period, Corinthians occupied the lead in the CBF ranking, a position maintained since 2020, and had the right to play in the knockout matches as home team.
