Corinthians Women extend their undefeated streak, but continue without beating São Paulo in the Under-20s since 2022

The 1-1 draw in the classic against São Paulo, last Wednesday (24), in the second round of the Paulista Women's Under-20 Championship, kept Corinthians without beating their rival in the category for almost four years. At the same time, the result extended Brabinhas' undefeated streak this season.

Corinthians' last triumph over São Paulo in the Under-20s took place in July 2022. On that occasion, Carioca scored the winning goal for the Black and Whites. Since then, the teams have faced each other 12 times, with a record of six draws and six victories in São Paulo.

The equality on the scoreboard also prolonged a recent balance between the clubs. The five most recent Majestosos ended without a winner, three of them tied 0-0. Despite the series of draws, Corinthians ended up being eliminated by their rival in the quarter-finals of this year's Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. After equality in the aggregate score, the decision went to penalties, and São Paulo advanced by winning 4 x 2.

Even without being able to end the taboo against the opponent, the momentum of Ju Passero's men remains positive. The team remains undefeated in 2026 and has achieved ten consecutive matches without defeat. During the period, there were seven wins and three draws, consolidating the longest undefeated streak in the category at the start of the season.

Now, Corinthians turns its attention to another commitment for the Campeonato Paulista Feminino U20. Next Wednesday (1st), Brabinhas will face Ferroviária, at 3pm (Brasília time), at the CT I9 International Academy, in Ribeirão Preto, in the third round of the state competition.
