Corinthians Women ends another day of training in the interseason

The Corinthians women's team concluded, this Thursday morning (9), another day of interseason training. The athletes received vacations from June 10th to 24th and returned to training at CT Joaquim Grava on June 25th, Thursday, aiming to continue their preparation for the resumption of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Paulistão, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores - the latter in the second semester.
As usual, the Brabas started the training day by doing strength work in the gym. Then, after warming up on the pitch, coach Emily Lima promoted an activity in possession of the ball, followed by passing between lines and finishing. Finally, set pieces were also worked on. The athletes return to training this Friday morning (10).

In relation to the medical department, goalkeeper Lelê continues to recover from tendinopathy in the back of her right thigh. In turn, defender Agustina, who has not yet played this season due to injuries - a recurring contracture linked to a scar on the soleus muscle of her left calf, has already started the process of physical readaptation with Timão's Health and Performance Center. Defender Thais Regina and midfielder Juliana Passari, recovered from injuries, are already training normally with their other teammates.
As Brabas took a break from the calendar, occupying the lead in the Brazilian Women's Championship with 28 points, accumulating nine wins, one draw and just two defeats - 31 goals scored and 13 conceded. With just five games left until the end of the first phase, Alvinegro is heading towards the knockout stages.
Timão will return to play in the sport on July 17th, Friday, when they will face Ferroviária, at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, in the fourth round of the first classification phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino.
In the first three rounds, they scored four points in three games - nine goals scored and four conceded. Corinthians and Ferroviária will also face each other in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. The duel will take place on July 20th, Monday, at 8pm, in Araraquara, at Arena Fonte Luminosa.
In the Brasileirão Feminino, Alvinegro only returns to the field on July 26th, at 11 am, at Fazendinha, for the thirteenth match of the classification phase of the national competition, against Vitória. In the second half of the year, Timão will also compete in the Conmebol Libertadores Feminina, which will be held between October 15th and 31st, in Ecuador. The Parque São Jorge club is the biggest winner in the history of the tournament with six titles: 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025.
