Corinthians Under-13 squad displays the trophy won in Punta Cana to the club president

On Sunday, June 28th, the Corinthians U13 squad won the MICFootball 2026 International Tournament, held in the Dominican Republic, in Punta Cana. In the decision, Timãozinho beat the Los Angeles Galaxy, from the United States. Alvinegro's goals were scored by Ítalo Daniel, Higor, Uchoa, Cavani and Rafhael.

On Monday afternoon (6), the young people from the U13 team, together with the category's coach, Herlon Silva, and the department executive, Erasmo Damiani, displayed the international trophy to the club's president - Osmar Stabile - in the president's room at the headquarters, Parque São Jorge. Throughout the competition, Alvinegro achieved 100% success, winning its six matches, with 37 goals scored and zero conceded. Before overcoming the North Americans in the decision, the Parque São Jorge club beat Barcelona Academy (11 x 0), Proyecto JDB, from Cuba (6 x 0) and Real Deportivo, from the Dominican Republic (4 x 0) in the first phase.

In the quarterfinals and semifinals, they beat Punta Cana, from the Dominican Republic (7 x 0) and El-Salvador (4 x 0), respectively. Now, Timãozinho resumes its focus on competing in the Paulista Championship of the sport. At the moment, Corinthians leads Group 9 with 26 points, with seven wins in seven games - 47 goals scored and zero conceded.

In the state category, each victory is equivalent to three points. At the end of the games, there are penalty shootouts that award an extra point to the winner. Of these seven disputes so far, the Parque São Jorge club has won five of them.
