Corinthians U20 ends preparation for Brasileirão clash and technical assistant projects recovery in the tournament

Corinthians U20 returns to the field this Wednesday (10) for the Brazilian Championship in the category. The black and white team faces Avaí, at 3pm, at Fazendinha, in a match valid for the 15th round of the national competition. The match will be broadcast exclusively on Corinthians TV.

In preparation for the duel against Santa Catarina, coach William Batista's men carried out activities at the Corinthians Center of Excellence in Athlete Training (CEFAC). The squad started work with an activation on the pitch and, afterwards, participated in technical-tactical training aimed at their commitment to the Brasileirão.

Although the focus is now on the national competition, the technical committee seeks to take advantage of the confidence gained in the debut of the Campeonato Paulista U20. In the last match, Timão beat Mirassol and left good impressions for the rest of the season.

The team's assistant coach, João Paulo di Fabio, highlighted the evolution shown by the young athletes and demonstrated optimism for this Wednesday's clash.

"We had a good development in the first round of the Campeonato Paulista, against Mirassol, and we expect many positive things for this game for the Brazilian Championship", he stated.

With 19 points won, Corinthians starts the round occupying 11th place in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship table and is looking for a positive result to get closer to the classification zone for the next phase.
