On the afternoon of this Tuesday (7), Corinthians hosts Palmeiras, at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, at 3pm (Brasília time), in a duel valid for the seventh round of the first phase of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. Currently, the Parque São Jorge club occupies fourth place with 10 points - three wins, one draw and two defeats, 17 goals scored and six conceded.

The rival leads the tournament with 18 points. Only the top eight advance to the quarterfinals. This season, Timãozinho is coming off a triumph over Juventus-SP, by a score of 4 x 2, last Saturday (4), also at Fazendinha, in its eighth Paulistão match in the category. Alvinegro is second in group 12 with 19 points. In the national competition, Corinthians was defeated by Santos, 2 x 1, in a classic for the sixth round, at CT Rei Pelé.

Probable Corinthians lineup

The only doubt for the match is midfielder Léo Rodrigues, 16 years old, who is recovering from bone edema.

Coach Guilherme Nascimento must select the following team to start the match: Gustavo Milani; Brenno Augusto, Estevão Balarin, Nathan William and Wendel; Ji-Paraná (Lucas Lopes), Lucca Caramico and Léo Amistá; Matheus Rocha, Léo Rodrigues (Gustavo Sales) and Miguel Moscardo.

Arbitration
