Corinthians trains in two periods and has a lecture on anti-doping at the CT
Corinthians remains firm in its interseason work at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava. This Wednesday, the black and white squad trained in two periods under the command of coach Fernando Diniz and intensified their preparation for their commitments in July.
The players opened the day with physical activity in the gym. Then, the group went to the pitch and carried out training focused on ball possession with shooting. In the second half, the athletes worked on strength and speed while being pulled by a teammate with the help of an elastic band before shooting on goal.
Diniz also took the opportunity to divide the squad into four groups of six players for intense activities on a smaller field. The exercise focused on coping stimuli.
Lecture at CT
In the afternoon, Dr. Ricardo Galotti, head of Corinthians' medical department, organized a preventive lecture on anti-doping. The presentation was given by Dr. Fernando Soléra, a doctor specializing in FIFA, Conmebol and CBF anti-doping, and by Lucas Berardi, postgraduate professor of Sports Dentistry at USP and Uni Ítalo.
Later, the cast performed another strength activity at the CT Dr. Joaquim Grava gym.
