Corinthians thrash Mixto to maintain their unbeaten record in the Under-17 Women's Brasileirão

Corinthians won an impressive victory this Saturday afternoon by defeating Mixto-PB 7-0, in a match valid for the second round of the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship. The match took place at the Ildeu Silvestre do Carmo Stadium, in Itaquaquecetuba. The Corinthians goals were scored by Pepê, who found the net three times, Kathleen, who scored two goals, as well as Glória Lira. The other goal came after an own shot by defender Thayla.

For the commitment, coach Igor Freire made changes to the formation that had previously played. Corinthians started the duel with Carol Paiva; Nay, Kaillany, Lari Horn and Isa Soares; Elohá, Kathleen and Natália Pereira; Pepê, Glória Lira and Letícia Mara.

Among the options on the bench were Maryah, Emily Victória, Laryssa Lorrane, Sophia Ferreira, Gimenez, MP, Manu, Grazy Fiel, Lara Ráculo, Larissa Alencar and Mariela.

The team from Paraíba entered the field with Jhenifer; Ketillyn, Thayla, Julhia and Dafine; Fernanda, Jamily and Luísa Myrella; Lorrana, Ewyllyn and Joicinha.

From the opening minutes, the Brabinhas imposed a strong rhythm and completely dominated the offensive actions. Easily infiltrating the opponent's defense and creating opportunities, Corinthians turned their superiority into a large lead even before the break, scoring six times in the first 45 minutes.

In the complementary stage, the outlook of the match remained favorable to the black and white team. Although the intensity decreased compared to the first half, the team continued to control possession, putting pressure on the opponent and creating constant chances. The dominance resulted in another goal, consolidating the victory without any reaction from Mixto.

With the result, Corinthians maintains its 100% record in the national competition, reaching six points in two rounds and remaining at the top of Group A.

Write it down, Faithful! - The Brabinhas return to the field on June 14th, when they host UDA-AL in the third round of the Under-17 Women's Brasileirão. The duel is scheduled for 3pm, at Fazendinha.
