Corinthians is expected to formalize a new contract related to the management of the Neo Química Arena parking lot in the coming days. The link was signed with Indigo, the company responsible for operating the space since 2018, and provides for changes in commercial conditions compared to the previous agreement.

According to information initially released by Meu Timão and confirmed by investigations from other vehicles that accompany the club, the new model establishes Corinthians' participation in the net revenue generated monthly by parking. Under the contract, the club will receive 35% of the net amount raised by the operation.

In addition to the financial participation, the company will also be responsible for the investment necessary to create approximately two thousand new spaces in the region of the Upper East Grandstand of the Neo Química Arena. The future structures will be permanent, unlike the temporary installations used in previous events held at the stadium.

Despite the definition of the investment, the expansion still depends on obtaining technical authorizations and approval from the competent bodies before the works begin.

Another point provided for in the new agreement involves the closure of an existing financial dispute between the parties. A debt that was around R$2.5 million and which was linked to the contractual relationship between Corinthians and Indigo no longer appears as an outstanding debt after the signing of the new bond.

Change in relation to the previous model

The management of the Neo Química Arena parking lot has been the subject of internal discussions in recent years. Members of the club believed that the current contract offered a low financial return to Corinthians, even with the operation being carried out in a structure belonging to the black and white heritage.

During 2025, different possibilities were analyzed by the board. Among them were proposals from other companies interested in taking over the operation of the parking lot and models that would guarantee a greater participation of the club in the revenue generated.

One of the companies that participated in these conversations was MultiPark, which advanced in negotiations to take over the management of the space. The negotiations, however, were not concluded, and Corinthians continued talks with Indigo until reaching the new agreement.

Contract history

The partnership between Corinthians and Indigo began in 2018. At the time, the company took over the operation of the Arena parking lot through a contract signed during Andrés Sanchez's management.

The original agreement provided for conditions that limited changes to the contract during the first years of validity. Furthermore, there were clauses relating to possible terminations and financial obligations between the parties.

Over the years, the model began to be questioned internally due to the low return for the club. The topic was analyzed by internal committees and was also part of administrative debates involving different administrations.

In 2025, the discussion gained strength again after evaluations of the possibility of reformulating the contract and the search for alternatives that would provide greater participation for Corinthians in the financial results of the operation.

Revenue and new projects

With the signing of the new contract, the expectation is that parking will represent a source of recurring revenue for the club. Furthermore, expanding the capacity of the Neo Química Arena could have an impact on future events held at the stadium. According to information released by sectors linked to the Corinthian administration, the internal understanding is that the agreed conditions represent an improvement in relation to the previous contract, both due to the financial participation and the investments planned for the Arena's infrastructure.
