Corinthians renews Gui Amorim's contract and ensures the base's promise remains

Corinthians announced, this Saturday morning (27), the contract renewal of midfielder Gui Amorim. The player's new contract, revealed in the club's youth categories, is valid until December 31, 2028, with an option to extend for two more seasons, until the end of 2030.

At 18 years old, Gui Amorim is considered one of the main highlights of the U20 black and white team and has been accumulating space within the club. In the current season, the midfielder was included in two matches for the main team, against Ponte Preta and Red Bull Bragantino, for the 2026 Campeonato Paulista.

Experiencing his first year in the Under-20 category, the player also presents consistent numbers. For the Brazilian Championship in the category, he has nine matches played, one goal scored and three assists. In the Campeonato Paulista, he participated in Corinthians' first two victories in the competition, contributing to the team's good start in the state championship.

The midfielder was also present in this year's São Paulo Junior Football Cup campaign. His debut in the Copinha came in the 1 x 0 victory over Trindade-GO, still in the initial phase of the tournament.

Before promotion to the Under-20s, Gui Amorim had already stood out in the Under-17s. In 2025, he played 17 matches for the Brazilian Championship in the category and scored nine goals. In the Paulista Under-17 Championship, he entered the field 14 times and found the net on seven occasions, consolidating himself as one of the most prominent athletes of his generation.

At Corinthians since 2019, the midfielder continues his development path at Parque São Jorge and expands his bond with the club amid the process of gradual integration between the youth categories and the professional squad.
