Corinthians releases new images of the revitalization of the Neo Química Arena facade

Corinthians continues to make progress with improvements to the Neo Química Arena. The process of cleaning the facade began on July 1st and, eight days later, the club released new images of the progress of the intervention. The records show a visible difference mainly in the coverage of the West Sector, where the work is already showing results.
The washing is part of a broader project to revitalize the stadium. In addition to the restoration of the facade, the planning includes conservation services in different areas of the Arena and the complete replacement of the pitch, taking advantage of the break in competitions during the World Cup.

According to Corinthians, the expectation is to complete all external cleaning by September. According to information released by Meu Timão, the estimated cost of the operation is between R$500,000 and R$600,000.
The last time the facade underwent a similar procedure was in November 2020. On that occasion, a specialized company was hired to sanitize the structure before installing the new visual identity related to the naming rights of Neo Química Arena.
In this initial phase of the operation, nine professionals work to clean the windows of the roof located in the West Sector. After completion of this stage, the work will be extended to other areas considered priority within the stadium.
Before execution began, the Arena administration carried out the process of hiring the responsible company. The choice involved consultation with suppliers, analysis of commercial proposals and approval of the procedures by the technical sectors, including the release of the Specialized Service in Safety Engineering and Occupational Medicine (SESMT).
In parallel with the revitalization of the facade, Corinthians also began completely replacing the pitch at the Neo Química Arena. The work began shortly after the friendly match between Brazil and the United States in the women's category, held at the stadium on July 6th.
The replacement of the field represents another stage of the improvements that began in 2025, during the stoppage for the Club World Cup. During that period, the lawn only received a new seam of synthetic fibers. In September of the same year, another intervention was carried out thanks to investment from the NFL, which used the Arena to host the regular season clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
Initially, the complete surface replacement was scheduled to take place between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. However, the tight schedule between one season and another led to the postponement of the schedule, which ended up being transferred to the months of June and July this year. All work is under the responsibility of the company World Sports, responsible for carrying out the lawn renovation project.
Corinthians' next appointment in Itaquera is scheduled for July 23rd. On that occasion, Timão will face Remo, at 7:30 pm, in the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship, in the team's first game at home after the suspension of the World Cup calendar.
