The first half of 2026 ended with unusual numbers for Corinthians Feminino. Despite continuing to compete for the main titles of the season and leading the Brazilian Championship, the black and white team ended the first six months of the year with one of the lowest success rates since the creation of Brabas.
Between January and June, Corinthians won 68.42% of the points played in official matches. The performance represents the club's second lowest mark in the initial period of a season since 2016, ahead only of the first year of the women's project, when the performance was 66.67%.

The season started with two consecutive decisions for the team initially led by Lucas Piccinato. In January, Corinthians advanced to the final of the Champions Cup after beating Gotham FC, from the United States, but ended up defeated by Arsenal, from England, 3 x 2 in the decision. Shortly afterwards, Brabas returned to compete in the final, this time for the Brazilian Super Cup, and finished runners-up after a 1-1 draw in regulation time and a penalty shootout defeat to Palmeiras.
The results and performance presented in the first months led the Corinthians board to promote changes in the technical committee. Lucas Piccinato left command of the team in February, making room for the arrival of Emily Lima.
Even with fluctuations throughout the season, Corinthians have suffered only four defeats in official competitions so far. In addition to the setbacks for Arsenal and Palmeiras, Brabas were also beaten by Cruzeiro, in the Brazilian Championship, and São Paulo, in the debut of the Campeonato Paulista.
On the national stage, the team ended the first half of the year leading the Brasileirão Feminino, adding 28 points, one more than Palmeiras. In the Campeonato Paulista, it occupies second place, with four points won, behind Ferroviária.
Qualification in the Brazilian Women's Cup also brought a breather to the club. Last Saturday (30), Corinthians beat Palmeiras 1 x 0, at Allianz Parque, and advanced to the round of 16 of the national competition.
With the calendar being halted due to the World Cup, Brabas will have a period without official commitments before the season resumes. The next game is scheduled for the second half of July, when Corinthians will host Ferroviária, at Fazendinha, following the Campeonato Paulista.
