Shortly afterwards, from a corner kick, Ji-Paraná appeared free in the air, but again failed to hit the target.
Despite Corinthians' greater possession of the ball, it was the Third Millennium who opened the scoring. At 11 minutes, Guilherme Silva recovered the ball in the defensive field, started a quick counterattack and found Davi. Goalkeeper Rafael Alencar made the save on the first attempt, but Isac took advantage of the rebound to score.
Timão responded by looking for aerial plays again. Lucca Caramico had a good opportunity after a cross from Rafael Luiz, but his header fell into the hands of the opposing goalkeeper.
In the 32nd minute, the home team increased their lead. With a free kick from the right, Isac surprised by finishing directly at the goal and scored the second.
Filhos do Terrão still tried to reduce the deficit before the break, but found it difficult to overcome the opposing defense. Thus, the Third Millennium went to the locker room winning 2 x 0.

Even with numerical superiority, Corinthians found it difficult to face strong opposing marking. In the 20th minute, Lucca Caramico took a low free kick, forcing the goalkeeper to make a free kick. On the rebound, Lucão almost reduced it, but the defense managed to keep it away.
The first black goal came in the 21st minute. After another shot saved by the goalkeeper, Miguel Moscardo appeared free to take advantage of the surplus and cash in.
The equalizer came in the 31st minute. Ji-Paraná crossed from the left, the ball deflected off the defense and hit the post before passing to Thiago Coelho, who finished to leave everything equal.
Encouraged, Corinthians intensified the pressure in search of a turnaround. In the 40th minute, Thiago Coelho hit the post after receiving a deep ball. Following the move, Miguel Moscardo wasted the opportunity on the rebound.
Shortly afterwards, however, the reward came. Lucão took a risk from outside the area, hit the shot and scored the goal that declared Corinthians' turnaround.
