Corinthians point guard Elinho finished the 2025/2026 Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) season as the competition's top waiter, with 399 assists in 44 matches, an average of 9.1 assists per game (APJ). The athlete surpassed playmakers Alexei, from Flamengo (8.8 APJ in 12 games), and Matheusinho, from Botafogo (6.4 APJ in 41 games).
